Eagles get knocked out in first round of subdistrict

GOTHENBURG—It seems the end always comes too soon.

Unfortunately for the Brady boys basketball team, the end came in the first round of the D1-11 subdisctrict at Gothenburg as the Eagles lost 38-25 to the Medicine Valley Raiders.

Head coach David Jacobs said it was a really tough way to end the season.

“We had plenty of chances, we just couldn’t hit anything,” he said. “We had the lead in the fourth quarter, but a couple of turnovers really hurt us.”

Handling the ball was a problem for the Eagles all night as they committed 35 turnovers. Still, Brady was in the game all night.
