Eagles earn postseason honors

Three Brady basketball players have received postseason honors from the state’s two largest daily newspapers.

The Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star released their all-state selections last week.

Seniors Brant May and Nate Sitorius received honorable mention among Class D1 players in the state for both the World-Herald and Journal Star.

May averaged 9.3 points per game his senior season along with 9.6 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocked shots.

Sitorius averaged 15.6 points per game for the Eagles as a senior and 7.3 rebounds per game. He had 1,071 points in his four-year career.

For the Eagle girls, junior Tara Callahan was named honorable mention by the Lincoln Journal Star. Callahan’s stats were not available.
