Three Brady teachers attend tech conference

Three Brady Public School teachers were among 20,000 educators from around the world to attend the International Society of Technical Education (ISTE) conference in Denver last month.

During the four-day conference, Tiffiny Widdifield, Angela Johnson and Heather Schultz learned how to bring the newest up-and-coming technologies into their district.

“We heard a lot of key words like coding and STEM, all of which are aimed to focus our students on real life problem-solving skills,” Widdifield said. “We were very fortunate to be able to attend the conference and get to hear some of the industry leaders. As a group, we really were focused on finding a curriculum for our elementary as well as looking at as much as we could to bring back to share with other staff members.”
