Eagles suffer a loss on the road

MULLEN¬≠—The Eagle football team was on the road last Friday to face a talented Bronco team. Mullen started off fast as they put up 20 unanswered points in the first quarter and never looked back on their way to a 76-20 win against the Eagles.

“We came out in the first quarter and let our nerves get the better of us. We didn’t take advantage of the scoring opportunities early in the game, and Mullen being a veteran team, took advantage and put us in a hole we didn’t handle in a positive way,” said Coach Seamann.

Next up for the Eagle football team will be a game at home against Eustis-Farnam on Friday at 7 p.m.
