Faith in people is revived

I wanted to thank you for putting on such an incredible event last night and for all your support of the Pinpoint Team. As the event unfolded (Wednesday) night, there was something I simply could not put my finger on. I walked around and saw all the families, young and old, the kids running around, baseball and softball games going on, popcorn, cotton candy, etc., but I couldn’t quite figure out what I was thinking.

But it hit me this morning, I was in a movie. I was in a movie where the entire town gets together, where people are nice to each other. A movie where kids are playing, music in the background and people laughing and talking with each other and working together for a common cause. It had to be a movie, because this simply doesn’t exist any longer. At least that is what I thought, until last night. This is Gothenburg.

It may sound corny, but I want to thank you not only for your support of Pinpoint and your warm welcome to us from day one, but for reviving my faith in people. We can all get very cynical at times with all the bad things that go on in the world each day, but what I saw last night gave me hope that things can be good, that there are good people that care about each other.

I look forward to continuing to work with all of you, and for Gothenburg and Pinpoint to be a huge success not only in this project, but in all that we embark on.
