Cools use technology to give a face to farming.

Josh Cool snapped a photograph of his wife and 2-year-old daughter in a field last spring.

Tiny soybean leaves were just sprouting from the soil.

Cool used his cell phone to tweet the picture and a response that said “teaching younger generation to appreciate dirt.”

Josh and his wife, Helen, are one of many farm families who have taken it upon themselves to put a face on family farming through the use of social media.
