Two students earn monthly honor

One junior high and one high school student from Brady Public Schools have been recognized as students of the month for April.
Seventh grader Molly Hannon is the daughter of Mary and Gerald Hannon. She is active is athletics and music.
In her nomination form, Hannon wrote that she considers her mother the most influential person in her life and that her heroes are her grandfather who was a World War II veteran, her uncle who remodeled their home and her brother Luke who helps when her parents are gone.
Senior Jodie Wewel is the daughter of Kim Wewel and is new to Brady this school year.
After graduation, Wewel plans to go to college in Grand Island studying nursing.
On her nomination form, Wewel wrote that keeping good grades is necessary to be accepted into a good college.
“It’s 10 times easier to work your mind than work your body,” she wrote.
