.William Allan Loibl, 86, of Gothenburg died December 23, 2018 at Cozad Care and Rehab in Cozad.
He was born June 18, 1932 in Cozad, son of Max and Irene (Newman) Loibl. Allan grew up in Cozad; he also lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, while in the Air Force before making the Cozad/ Gothenburg area his home. He married Myrna Halbgewachs on Sept. 19, 1970 at Cozad. He had four daughters - Cheryl, Lisa, Julie and Crystal. Allan was a busy farmer, cattleman and truck driver. He was involved in motorcycling, enjoyed collecting tools, boating, going to auctions and working on cars.
.Survivors include his four daughters: Cheryl (Gary) Brooks of Cozad, Lisa (Rich) Wall of Centennial, Colorado, Julie (Paul) Podany of Castle Rock, Coloradio, and Crystal Loibl of Parker, Coloradio; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Loibl (Vicki Peden) of Kearney, Mike (Judea) Loibl of Culbertson, and Rich Loibl (Cindy McMinn) of
Gothenburg; two sisters, Shirley (Hank) Schneider of Cozad and Pat (Lane)Tederman of Gothenburg; along with many extended family and friends.
.Allan was preceded in death by his wife Myrna, parents, his father and mother-in-law, Harold and Edith Halbgewachs and his first wife Betty (Gruber) Loibl.
.Visitation was held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018.
.Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, 1002 Ave C, Gothenburg, NE, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, with Richard & Donald Halbgewachs officiating.
.Interment followed in the Cozad Cemetery.
