The Swede Speech team had a dynamic performance in Broken Bow last Saturday. All but just a handful of events broke into the final (medal) rounds! The team brought home 32 medals including 5 golds. Highlights of the meet included Arissa Ackerman winning double gold, all the novice extempers medaling with Ian Ackerman bringing home gold, both novice duets medaling with a win by Taylor Littlewolf and Kenzie Margritz, the Varsity sweep of Extemp by Elissa Foley and Callum Ward, and the Varsity sweep of Inform by Arissa Ackerman and Callum Ward! The Swedes head back to Grand Island next week for the second Central Nebraska Forensics League tournament.

The Indians (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Valentine (Valentine, NE). The go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Valentine got by Stuart (Stuart, NE), 45-39, in a non-league test.
