Parking Issue Addressed at Council Meeting

The Gothenburg July 7, 2020 City Council meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Stupka Selected for UNK’s Teachers Scholars Academy

KEARNEY – Forty students, including Gothenburg High School graduate Jaycee Stupka, will receive fulltuition scholarships to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney as members of the Teachers Scholars Academy.


Wyatt Back on the Gridiron at Shrine Bowl

FEELS SO RIGHT: Tucker Wyatt was selected to play in the first football game in the country since March. Suiting up as number 44 for the North side, Wyatt played in Kearney at the Shrine Bowl on Saturday, July 11 at UNK’s Foster Field. He received the call roughly three weeks before the game, and mentioned during a radio interview with KRVN that he has been trying to bulk up after losing some weight from the previous season so he didn’t get “thrown around quite as much.” Wyatt played on the Gothenburg High School football team for all four years of his high school career.
