LaVon “Bonnie” O. Fattig- McClintock, 95, of Brady departed this life in Cozad, NE on August 3, 2021.
Joni Kay Peterson, 61, of Lexington went on to her heavenly home on August 4, 2021 at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington and is running around talking to all her friends and family. Joni was born in Gothenburg, NE to Kent and Marian (Rodine) Peterson on June 11, 1960. Joni was raised on the family farm in Wild Horse Valley north of Brady, NE.
Mary Ann Kreuscher, 86, of Beatrice passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Beatrice Community Hospital. She was born June 27, 1935, at Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School in 1952. Mary Ann attended Doane College where she was a member of Omega Psi Theta sorority and then taught school for two years. She married Allen A. Kreuscher on June 27, 1954, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of rural DeWitt and they lived and farmed in the DeWitt area until moving to Beatrice in 2005. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Beatrice. She sang with the gospel group, Sounds of the Spirit, for 20 years, worked on the Saline County election board, and was a member of DeWitt Grange. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, decorating, traveling, and antiquing.
Kristine “Kris” K. McElroy passed away on Tuesday, July 29th, in Sioux City, Iowa, as a result of an automobile accident. Kristine Katherine Graff was born January 23rd, 1965 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to James “JR” Graff and Katherine (Brehm) Graff. She became an older sister to James “Jim” Graff in 1968 and quickly became his chief stylist and hairdresser—much to her mother’s chagrin. Growing up, Kris was an active member of her high school choir, played the piano, and served as a majorette in the marching band. She graduated from Alliance High School and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to further her education and care for her grandmother.
