Gymnastics West, the Gothenburgbased gymnastics club, continues its competition season at the Mardi Gras Xcel Xtravaganza on Feb. 29-March 1 in Colorado.

LINCOLN — Gothenburg’s own Lake Helen is one of several Nebraska bodies of water set to receive catchablesize rainbow trout.

This is part of a rainbow trout stocking program administered by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Merrill will try two sports at Peru State

BRADY — Brady High School multi-sport athlete Shane Merrill made it official last Wednesday, signing an NAIA National Letter of Intent to play football and basketball for Peru State College.
