The Dawson County Relay for Life will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. The Relay for Life is set for 6 p.m. July 19, which will take place in Ehmen Park here in Gothenburg. The walk begins with the survivor’s lap, and it will run through midnight.

The fifth annual adrian Fiala Memorial Golf Tournament is slated for Saturday, July 13 at Wild Horse Golf Club here in the city.

There will be a meet-and-greet session with Cornhusker legends at 9 a.m., in which the public can take pictures and seek autographs.

Future University of Arkansas golfer Julia Gregg won a United States Golf Association girls’ junior sectional qualifier at Wild Horse Golf Club on June 25.

Gregg fired a five-under par 67 to win the event, besting Floridian Elle Nachmann by two strokes.
